Next Up Fund Contest Rules

1. Program Purpose

The Next Up Fund supports young local hustlers and entrepreneurs who are actively building legitimate services, trades, or small businesses. This program is designed to help motivated people take the next practical step with tools, equipment, and startup needs.

2. Local Service-Area Eligibility

This program is limited to candidates in Okie Hustle Co.'s service area. Eligible communities include Broken Arrow, Tulsa, Bixby, Jenks, Owasso, Catoosa, Coweta, Sapulpa, and nearby areas generally within about 30 miles of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Okie Hustle Co. may request address verification before final selection.

3. Age Requirement

Candidates must be between 16 and 25 years old at the time of entry.

If a selected recipient is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must approve participation and any public media feature before funds are released.

4. Funding Source

Okie Hustle Co. funds this program by setting aside $5 from each completed job. Available award amounts will vary based on real completed-job volume and business operations.

5. Award Timing and Amount

Awards are generally planned on a quarterly cycle. Okie Hustle Co. may accelerate, delay, or skip an award cycle depending on available funds, operations, and applicant quality.

Each award cycle includes a submission cutoff date at least 14 days before the planned award date so entries can be reviewed and verified.

There is no guaranteed minimum or maximum award amount for any cycle.

6. Entry Methods

Entries may be submitted through the Next Up Fund page in either of these ways:

• Self-application by the candidate
• Nomination of a candidate by someone else

All submissions must include truthful, complete contact details and a clear explanation of what the candidate is building.

7. Required Submission Information

Applications or nominations should include:

• What the candidate is building
• Current stage of effort and recent progress
• How funds would be used immediately
• Links or examples of work when available

Incomplete, spam, or low-effort entries may be removed without notice.

8. What the Fund Is For

The fund is intended for practical business-building costs, including equipment upgrades, tools, protective gear, business license fees, and quality used gear including pawn-shop purchases when appropriate.

Examples include lawn/landscape equipment, detailing tools, pressure-washing gear, welding supplies, baking equipment, and similar work-ready purchases.

9. What the Fund Is Not For

Grant funds may not be used for illegal activity, controlled substances, gambling, weapons, unrelated personal expenses, or any use that does not clearly support the candidate's business effort.

10. Selection Process

Recipients are selected by Okie Hustle Co. at its sole discretion. This program is not a lottery.

To keep selections fair and consistent, entries are reviewed with this scoring guide:

• Demonstrated effort and consistency: 0-30 points
• Clear and practical fund use: 0-25 points
• Readiness to execute now: 0-20 points
• Local service-area eligibility and fit: 0-15 points
• Professionalism and completeness of submission: 0-10 points

Top-scoring entries may receive a short follow-up call or message for verification before final selection.

Okie Hustle Co. may also make one discretionary wildcard selection from eligible entries in a cycle, including a random pick by ownership, when it supports the program mission and local community goals.

11. Verification and Documentation

Okie Hustle Co. may request additional verification, including age, local residency, business activity, or intended use of funds before issuing an award.

False, misleading, or unverifiable information may result in disqualification.

12. Social Media Features and Consent

Okie Hustle Co. may announce recipients publicly and may film or photograph award handoffs for social channels. By accepting funds, recipients agree to reasonable photo/video use related to this program.

For recipients under 18, parent or legal guardian consent is required for filming, posting, and participation.

Video production, editing, and publishing schedules may delay when winner content is posted.

13. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is required to apply or nominate. Booking services with Okie Hustle Co. does not improve selection odds and is not considered in recipient selection.

14. No Guarantee of Award

Submitting an application or nomination does not guarantee selection, funding, media exposure, or future support.

15. Taxes and Legal Responsibility

Recipients are solely responsible for any personal, tax, or business obligations connected to receiving and using the funds.

16. Program Changes and Cancellation

Okie Hustle Co. may modify, pause, delay, or end this program at any time for any reason, including operational, legal, financial, weather, scheduling, or production needs. Updated rules will be posted on this page.
